ACVO-SAVES
Complimentary screening eye exams for hard working Service & Working animals. Every May. World-Wide.
The ACVO-SAVES (ACVO®/Epicur Service Animal Volunteer Eye Screening) program provides complimentary screening eye exams each May for qualifying Service and Working Animals.
These screenings are performed by board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists (ACVO® Diplomates) who volunteer their time and expertise to support the animals who serve and protect us every day.
Registration is open April 1–30 each year, with exams taking place throughout May. Thousands of animals are seen annually across the U.S., Canada, and select international locations.
This program is made possible through the generosity of our amazing volunteer ACVO® Diplomate Members and their care teams, and our supporting name-sake sponsor, Epicur Pharma® (Stokes Healthcare). We are also grateful to those who have shared their inspiring stories and photos.
Registration for the 2026 event is open through April 30. We encourage early registration, as appointments may be limited.
